Toronto not much better, I think everyone is getting weary & you're doing the right thing by surrounding yourself with thoughts & things that lift your spirits.

BarbaraBarbara Travisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2083735551916707425.post-73516207501379474312014-02-03T09:59:09.076-05:002014-02-03T09:59:09.076-05:00Thanks so much Colleen! But don't be too concerned its been an exceptionally cold and snowy winter, not the norm here. Please keep in touch regarding your Ikea kitchen or your move if I can be of any help! ~ CCarolReedInteriorDesignnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2083735551916707425.post-22652445991491315812014-02-03T09:48:07.933-05:002014-02-03T09:48:07.933-05:00Hi Kim, So true winter temps are much colder in To...Hi Kim, So true winter temps are much colder in Toronto. I would have to say I think Toronto gets more snow than NS too. But driving is not essential, and there is an endless amount of things to do that are indoors as well as the underground 'city' to escape the weather. When it does snow in NS it usually doesn't last long before it melts away (this years been an exception). Winter came early, I'm hoping we at least get something of a spring this year. Love apple blossoms!! ~CCarolReedInteriorDesignnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2083735551916707425.post-60400628248469798132014-02-03T06:50:07.903-05:002014-02-03T06:50:07.903-05:00I grew up in Nova Scotia so I know how long the wi...I grew up in Nova Scotia so I know how long the winter drags on. However, now that i live in Toronto I miss the more temperate weather in the winter - certainly more snow in NS, but less of the minus double digits! Toronto weather is nasty this year, so you would not be any better off here! Wait until the apple blossoms come out in the Annapolis Valley and then you will remember why Nova Scotia is so special.Kimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2083735551916707425.post-74565789396651433082014-02-02T16:28:34.325-05:002014-02-02T16:28:34.325-05:00I discovered your blog when researching Ikea kitch...I discovered your blog when researching Ikea kitchens but remained when I found you were planning a move to Nova Scotia, a plan that is on our agenda as well. When I watch the weather updates it makes me nervous thinking about the long winter. Flowers and citrus fruit might help as well as photos of the wonderful landscape, preferably not winter ones. We're heading on a road trip and see more snow predicted. Stay cozy, warm and hope the perfume of your roses helps lift your spirits.Colleen Gandernoreply@blogger.com
